praia catedrais santiago compostela

The journey by motorbike through northern Spain continues towards the next stop in Santiago de Compostela, the capital of the Spanish province of Galicia and the final end of the journey of the same name, called Santiago's Way, in which millions of pilgrims engage every year.

My itinerary continues from Gijon through the beautiful northern coasts, such as the Praia das Catedrais, which owes its name to the numerous particular rock formations located on the beach, which form a very suggestive series of natural arches that can be crossed on foot during the low tide and which are reminiscent of the rampant arches of the Gothic cathedrals.

Arrived in the city of Santiago it is time to rest before embarking on the return journey to Barcelona, maybe tasting an excellent Galician octopus accompanied by tasty pimiento de Padron. You waiting to taste these specialties, enjoy a few photos of my trip.
